File deletion policy

• This policy applies to files you upload to BayanPDF and outputs generated by tools such as compression, merge, split, conversion, and protection.
• We use files only to perform the requested operation, and we do not use file content for advertising, sale, or AI model training.
• If processing happens in the browser without server upload, we do not have a stored file on our servers to delete.

• When a tool requires server upload, the file is stored temporarily only during processing or to provide a result download link.
• For guests, uploaded files and generated results are automatically deleted within two hours of processing.
• Scheduled cleanup removes temporary files automatically even if the user does not press delete-now.
• Files may be deleted sooner when no longer needed or when you use delete-now where available.
• After deletion, file recovery or download link recreation is not guaranteed.

• A Delete now button may appear after processing, and you can use it to remove the temporary file immediately.
• Download links are temporary and signed; they do not remain open indefinitely.
• If the delete button is not shown, files are still automatically deleted within the retention period described in this policy.
• We do not keep a permanent copy of uploaded files or temporary results after the deletion window ends.

• Retention for accounts or teams may vary by plan and settings managed by the user or organization.
• When custom retention settings are available, they are shown inside the account or workspace.
• BayanPDF does not use temporary files as permanent user storage.

• We may keep technical logs that do not contain file content, such as job time, tool type, approximate size, success or failure state, and browser type.
• These logs help improve performance, fix issues, protect the service from abuse, and run scheduled cleanup.
• Original file names can be scrubbed from records after the configured privacy window.
• To request file deletion when delete-now is unavailable, send the download link or job ID to privacy@bayanpdf.com without sending the file itself.
